Edit Image in View Mode Should Rebuild Thumbnail

Using MP version .79,
In View mode, I took an image (non-animated gif) and cropped it.
Then I double clicked to return to browser mode. (I have no-confirm enabled for saving files)
(I tried also using the save button whilst still in View mode and had the same effect)
The file cropped okay, but the thumbnail did not update to reflect the changes.

When a file is cropped, the file's thumbnail should update automatically.

[update]
I applied some changes to a jpeg file, adjusting the contrast/gamma/saturation.
When I save the file and return to the browser mode the thumbnail is not updated.
But if I copy and paste another file in that folder, it causes the thumbnail on the edited file to be updated. (strange)

If I open and close it works fine.
It seems like, after the edit is accomplished, it might perhaps have rebuilt the thumbnail but it just hasn't updated it yet. Other file actions in that folder cause it to display properly.
It's as if the function to update the thumbnail is not called in the edit-file procedure.

Pierre,

Yes - f5 does fix the thumbnail display.

Now, I tried this in a configuration that used tabs, too. So I opened the jpg and cropped and saved, but it did not display the thumbnail of the modified image in the browser - except when I pushed f5, as you suggested. So I guess it's just the refresh isn't automatic.
