Default of Option "Start View in Fullscreen"

After associating XnView with specific file types (Tools > Options > Associations), the user can double-click on an image file in MS Explorer and directly view the image in XnView.
What I found is that by default, after double-clicking XnView is started and the image is shown in fullscreen. When pressing Esc, XnView closes immediately. This sounds good to me if you only want to view a file. But what if you want to edit the file? I find this very inconvenient, since the user has no way to change to browser or other mode and edit the file. (after fiddling around a bit, I found that double-click brings me to the browser).
In Tools > Options, category General > Startup this behaviour can be easily changed by unchecking "Start View in Fullscreen".
I think by default the option "Start View in Fullscreen" should be unchecked. This would allow for users to both view and edit the image (not only view it).

Agreed. Better for first time users.

But this option is not by default...

If I delete the .ini file and then start XnView and look in the option, the option is activated. So in my eye it's activated by default, but shouldn't.

When thinking about this more, it looks as if this is a minor issue, but it's actually a larger one:
All those users that have installed XnView 1.80 and double-click on a file will have the fullscreen and cannot do anything with the image unless exiting fullscreen. And for them this will not change unless they change the appropriate option or remove the .ini file.
I strongly advice to change the option's name in the next XnView release so that the default becomes valid, i.e. no fullscreen when opening. Those users who really want to have the fullscreen, can change the option, then.
