[Solved] Numbered files out of sequence in browser file list

I noticed a change a few months ago, which is a major annoyance. The files in the browser view used to be ordered as in explorer folders, with sequencing of numbers being recognized properly regardless of not many places in the number. ie: 1, 2, 3, recognized the same as 01, 02, 03, and 11, 12, 13 coming after 9, or 09. Now the first digit determines the file ordering, so 15-e comes AFTER 136, 2-e comes between 19-e and 22-e, etc. So in the overall file order, the single digit numbers are dispersed throughout the list amid the 20's, 30's, 40's, etc, and the hundreds are pushed up to the top of the folder.
I've looked around, and can't find any way to adjust this. It definitely is a change (since a recent update?), and used to behave normally. I'm using XnViewMP Version 0.79 x64 (Mar 22 2016) Libformat version 6.86 on Ubuntu 16.04 LTS (was the same on 14.04). My windows version does not have this issue. Thanks.
