Display preview on second monitor

Hello all, I've been using XnViewMP 0.79 recently, and I want to know if this is an issue or just difference in functionality.

In XnView Classic there is an option to show the preview image on the second monitor:

Code: Select all

Browser -> Preview -> Use fullscreen on second monitor for previewing
XnViewMP has this option:

Code: Select all

View -> Fullscreen -> Dual monitor: Use second monitor
For the most part, with this option checked the behavior is similar between both versions.
However, when starting the program I need to double click or enter on the picture to display the image on the second monitor.

I've also tried with the second monitor option disabled, and drag the preview window to the second monitor, but there is not an option to have it maximized.

Is there an option to achieve the same functionality as in XnView Classic?

Thanks.

Hello, I returned after some time of only using XnView Classic.

I updated recently to XnViewMP 0.90 and I see this option is still missing.

In XnView Classic, when opening in Browser mode, the preview appears in the second monitor always.

Both XnView Classic and XnView MP have the option "Dual monitor: Use second monitor" under the View -> Fullscreen. But this only works when switching from Browser/Viewer to full screen.

Regards.
