0.81 x64 No thumbnail is shown for SVG files

Simply, a generic icon is shown and no thumbnail image is rendered for svg files...

please check Settings>filelist>custom filter

Since I'm new to this forum I'm not sure if this is the right place to post.
However, I have the same problem - XnViewMP 0.81 x64 - SVG files don't show up.
I've already removed SVG and SVGZ from the exclusion list. Filter is checked for "custom". I am on Win7 x64.
In XnViewMP 0.79 x64 I don't have this problem, SVG files are showing up fine there.
Is it a bug in 0.81 or something I'm missing?

I had already checked the custom filter, and svg was not excluded...
The bug in the bug tracker says "resolved" in status, where can we get the version that resolves this bug?

I confirm that in 0.82b1 (or 0.83b1!) the SVG thumbnails work again, as do SVGs in full size viewer; still no transparent/chequered background neither in thumbnails nor in full view.
