XnviewMP crashes when trying to read some type of extensions

Even if I exclude them from preferences file list, custom filter, where I have excluded all files except images and create rules to exclude also problematic extensions. Also adding the filter to images only.
The process seems always the same, even they are excluded how the program works is first it reads all files and then exclude them. Because that all files appears briefly before being filtered, and that is the moment that it crashes. It looks that even it has been asked to don't read them , it does.
For example always crashes with bip files , the project files for Keyshot.
Also even it has been asked don't create icons for folders files it tries to access anyway . This means that if a bip file is in a subfolder it will crash even I don't try to access to that subfolder or create icons for it. But this is less consistent that crashing with bip extension for keyshot, that happens always.
It is not exactly a crash but rather freezes the program for so long (5 minutes or more) that is more practical terminate the program.
This happens in 0.81 but probably was happening before. Tested in windows 10.
