Hello, how to disable reading all files meta data in a directory in browser mode?

No problem. Those functions could then be disabled. And detailed view column could be empty. Thats how I wanted it.

Yes, but those informations aren't interesting for me. Those only slows down (eg in networks) and I want to use those informations in the the browser (detailed view) as a bookmark. They can show me in directories with lots of pictures, which pictures I have seen, when those meta data are only be loaded when opening the picture or when selecting it in the browser to load the thumbnail. This way of functioning would help me a lot.

If disabling reading most meta data would speed up XnView, I think that would be a good option to have.
Browsing a lot of files tends to make the program lag a lot in some cases.
