I do a lot folder icon editing in windows, which use 256 pix * 256 pix as the standard size. Right now, 160*120, 320*240 etc. are available, could you add the resize -standard size - 256*256? In this way, I don't have manually type in 256 every time.
Thanks,
Sibo

I got it wrong. it is not 225x225. should be 160*120, 320*240 etc. I already modified the top post.

These are the standard sizes in XnView 2.36:

From what I can see only 256x256 is missing. Is this the size you'd like to see added in the "Standard sizes" drop down list?

The standard size has no 256*256

O.k., I understand.
Perhaps it would be a good idea to have a setting (list) in the .ini file that allows for adding/removing any sizes to the standard sizes. This setting wouldn't have a user interface (=UI-less setting) and could be set by editing the .ini file, only.

The sizes : 160*120, 320*240, 640*480, 800*600 are really old-fashioned. I think some of them are designed to make desktop wallpaper for small monitor in the old times. Now day, no one uses that kind of monitor anymore. Instead, 256*256 is the most commonly used icon size for windows. A lot of people make their customized icon for their windows folder. It will accelerated the work if that option could be added.

I highly support your idea that just having the users to customize the option by editing .ini file.

I do too!
Lack of 16:9 aspect resolutions like 1920x1080 is annoying at times
