Hi all,

Why I need to convert? I have 60 GB files in folders and subfolders and I want to shrink amount of data. Lose of quality is not important.
I try with ImageMagick but didn't succeeded.
Is it possible with XnConvert? At Output Tab I can change Format but I don't understand Settings Tab below Format picker...
Please give me some hint.

If you wish to reduce the file size of your PNGs the first thing to try would be to check that you have maximum compression selected: on the Output tab set the format to PNG and then click on the Settings... button and set Compression level = 9.

If you wish to try converting the files to PNG 8 bit you can use Image > Change color depth on the Actions tab.

But if quality loss is not important, have you considered saving the images as JPEG files with compression applied?

If you need further help do you have a sample image you could upload?

Used Image > Change color depth on the Actions tab and I am very satisfied.
Compression level=9 shrink data just for 2%.

I don't need further help.

I can't change extension (it is not necessary) because pictures are downloaded from wms server as tiles.
