How To Straighten An Image...

How do you straighten horizons, etc. I've looked everywhere and can't find how to do it. Anyone help please ?

In the Viewer:

Image > Rotate > Custom...

Thanks, but after rotate, there is no "custom" option ???

Could you post a screenshot?

Or are you possibly using XnView MP rather than XnView Classic, where the option is:

Image > Rotate > Rotate...

Yes, I'm using MP. You're right, it has rotate option but this rotates the photo itself, rather than straightening a horizon, etc.

Is it possible to straighten the horizon in other software without rotating the image itself ??

I think normally the only solution would be to rotate the image as required, and then crop the image slightly...

Possibly there is software that can rotate a selection on an image, but that is likely have its own issues and would probably be of limited use generally.
