What happened to all the slideshow features of XnView classic? In particular, the ability to make a custom slideshow with specific files and a specific order and length, and save them to .sld? I miss that feature enormously.

I agree with CharonM72.
I still have the classic XnView installed (installed MP just this morning), and MP doesn't seem to offer the ability to make a slideshow. Yes, it has the 'Quick Slideshow' button, but not the 'Create/Slideshow' offer (Ctrl+L) as in the Classic.
I'd like to see that, too.

Hello,
Please add Diashow / Slideshow Feature as XnView Classic.''
Currently it gives the Quick-Diashow.
But only as Icon in FileView.
Please add this Option in the Menu "Picutre" -> Quick-Diashow.

I really would like to second this request!
Having the ability to create "image playlists" in order to present a slideshow of images (as subset of one or multiple files within folders) is the top-most needed feature for me.
The playlists should be created using drag-and-drop from within XNview MP and stored as (text)files so that I can archive these along with my images.
Currently I always have to copy all the images to a separate folder and use the slideshow from there - not a nice solution.
I really appreciate the development of this freeware software. XnView MP is my primary image management tool and I use it a lot! Thank you

Thank you very much for integrating that feature into the current version 0.89!
(and see bug report about crash when double clicking SLD-file in thumbnail view)
