So, new problem.

Image rotation. It appears that a percentage of my portrait format images are being flipped - as if the EXIF data has been inverted on converting to JPEG.

Again, anything I'm missing?

Rotate images according to EXIF is checked.

I've also had cases where the camera's sensor assigned an incorrect value of the EXIF orientation tag.
You'll have to rotate these images manually with XnView's lossless JPEG transformation commands.
On occation, I've also used JPEG Lossless Rotator, which uses the same code base as XnView and has served me well.

Firstly, apologies for the split thread.

Regarding the false rotation, what's frustrating is that the DNG appears correctly, while the JPEG it creates after conversion appears inverted.

Why would this happen?

Is there a way to assure it's converted correctly?

I don't really want to manually correct 3000+ images, but if I do need to can I filter to see portrait images only in XnView?

Sorry for the delay. Could you please share a sample file that's not converted properly?
