XnView Software

Hey all, not sure if this has been posted but I couldn't find anything.

Anyhow, some images won't open in XNview MP, but rather open externally when double clicked. The image that's recently highlighted this was taken at more or less the same time, with the same camera and are the same format. Windows can open the image all the same also. The only difference I've noticed between the two photos is that when I go to "Properties" the 3 dates near the bottom of the window are all 12:00 even with no date info, while the other images vary, as they would. Under the "Details" where all the exif data is, everything looks consistent, so my guess is whatever is going on with the "Create", "Modified" and "Accessed" info should lead in the right direction to figuring out what's going on with this issue. It's realllllly obnoxious

I also just had it happen again which is why I checked back. Rather than noticing it was wrong, I actually saw it go wrong this time. I opened up a directory in XNView that was created using windows and when I created a new folder in that directory and moved some files into via XNview, then the problem occurred again for some of the images. I'm not sure if this is what happened for the images that I had before, but it was certainly the case this time around. I'll list the steps I went through below.

Open XNView
Navigate to folder
"Cut" selection of images
Create new folder in source directory of images and named it
"Paste" images into new folder

Out of 150 jpgs that were moved, 5 are now having this issue where the thumbnail size is smaller and when double clicked, open in an external viewer. The time stamp data also seems to have the same issue as before also.
