Hi,

when I print my images using the thumbnail feature (4 images on 1 page - 2 rows/2 columns) and use the "page number" automatic textfield, the internal counter counts the number of images, not of pages. So e.g. at page 1 there is shown the text "Page 1, on page 2 there is shown the text "Page 5", on page 3 there is shown the text "Page 9" and so on - including the total amount of pages - e.g. 36 instead of 9.

There is no possibility to avoid this. Seems to be a real bug.

Any suggestions welcome.

I could reproduce your problem using XnView 0.84 on Windows.

To reproduce:
1. In XnView browser select 9 image files.
2. Select "File » Print"
3. In Print dialog use...
a.) Page Layout: "Thumbnails"
b.) Rows: 2, Columns: 2
c.) On "Header/Footer" tab check "Footer" and specify {Page number} or {Page number}/{Page count} as footer.
d.) Select "Print"

Actual behaviour: Pages are numbered 1, 5, 9
Expected behaviour: Pages are numerbered 1, 2, 3

O.k., thank you, I can also reproduce the problem. Issue 1143 is fixed in next version.

This problem is supposed to be fixed in XnView MP 0.85 beta 1. Please check and confirm the bug fix here.
