0.82: Meta info get deleted if a file gets replaced

Hello,

today I had to sort some duplicated files out and used in XnView MP in two several instances. But then I've hit the following issue:

1. Folder A has file A
2. Folder B has another file A (same filename as in folder A)
3. Delete file A out of folder A.
4. Move file A out of folder B to folder A
5. All meta info (rating, tags) of the moved file get removed.

I would excpect when I delete file A out of A that the DB entries get deleted for that file. But when I now move file A out of folder B, the db entries out of folder B should get set as the movement is a more recent action than the deletion.

This does not happen, if XnView get closed after step 3.

Hmmm I tried to reproduce this with a clean install, but then it works fine. Probably it has to do with my database? (I use XnViewMP since the very early begin).

With my productive XnViewMP version this is reproducable, but not with a clean one. Tried around the last hour with some settings and set ups (local db etc) but it seems this behaviour only happens with my very own database.

I will test around some more if I have more time, but as long I think we can stash this report.

perhaps there is a problem to delete the entries in database, is it possible to have the database?

I followed the steps in initial post and couldn't reproduce the problem. Perhaps a problem of the database or special settings.
