"Waves" And "Mosaic" Effects Don't Match

Whenever I try doing a "Waves" or "Mosaic" effect, the result doesn't match at all what the preview window shows. I've seen this occur both when I'm working with the picture as a whole and with just a selection of a picture.

Yes, there is a problem with these 2 filters.
