Resize halo

Although PhotoFiltre uses GFL SDK, it does a better job at resizing certain RGBA images than XnView.
Test images:
Resized to 50% with XnView v2.39:
Resized to 50% with PhotoFiltre v7.2.1 (Lanczos):
Is there a way to make (all versions of) XnView use the same method as PhotoFiltre?
