Linux: Multi monitor Full screen issue

Hello,
I have started using XnView over the weekend and like it very much. I have come accross one problem though. When I use the fullscreen mode from the View it stretches partially accross my 2nd monitor. When I do the same from the Browser it works properly. It almost looks like there are 2 different ways of achieving the fullscreen view. Please, see the screen shots below. View - Fullscreen stretches to the other monitor, Browser - Fullscreen works properly. The strange thing is that when I move the XnView window to the 2nd monitor then both fullscreens work as it should.
I am testing it on Linux Ubuntu 16.04 with 2 monitors. Both on 1920x1080 and they are next to each other in the settings.
Since the Browser to Fullscreen works properly it must be possible to fix this somehow.
Please, let me know what else you need from me
Thank you
Jakub

Thank you for your reply
No, it isn't but I have tried it even with that option activated. It works exactly the same but
- From the Browser it works according to the option (when activated it moves to the 2nd monitor and stretches properly, if not activated it stays on the 1st monitor and stretches properly)
- From the View it has no effect. That means the option is ignored completely and does exactly the same as mentioned in my first post.

This is probably due to the fact that XnView has actually two fullscreen modes (browser & viewer). Pierre?

Could you guys please change it so there is only one? So simply the Viewer one behaves like the Browser one and goes by the Settings?
Thank you very much

Pierre is the only developer of all XnView software. We'll have to wait for his response.

i can't test multi monitor on linux, but it's very strange in view mode, that's picture is stretched on second monitor. The picture must become fullscreen on 1st monitor only (like on windows)

Exactly. Would it be possible to use the same function/method in the view mode as in the browser mode? It seems there are two different sections of code for this. I am completely at your disposal in testing this.
Thank you

I have tested 0.84 and the issue is still there. Can you please take a look at it?
Thank you very much
