Distribution with two manifests?

In your last few releases of XnView you include two manifests - one as resource inside executable and another as external file. One of them is redundant.

on Xp, if i don't add external one, the theme doesn't work

I don't know what your XP is missing. Just tried 2.39 on my XP SP3 without external manifest and all themes of interface are picked up correctly by XnView.
The story about XnView crashing when trying to access memory addressed by null-pointer I'll tell you some other day.

For example, there is a theme problem in Options dialog.
