It's not so useless. One day I used it placing the function in the ToolBar.
What is missing is the icon of the Uncolored and Uncolored (Move to next image).
It's even easy to create these icons, just desaturating one of the others.

Sirio, could you perhaps create the two icons and send them to Pierre with a reference to this topic? (Initially, images are unrated and uncoloured so I think these functions aren't used that often. But you never know and it's good to have icons for all commands, if possible.)

I am trying to capture the internal icons with IconsExtract and Resource Hacker, but both software don't found the UI icons.
Some suggestions?

Thank you, Sirio, for trying. Hmm, I thought you could just make a screenshot and then create the two icons out of them. But probably you would have to fiddle around with transparency. So it's probably better make a request for such icons and let Pierre's icon designer design the icons. Agreed?

Cool, thank you for your effort, Sirio! I'll point Pierre to these icons and will ask him to include them in XnView MP.

Icons for cmd_label2.cmd & cmd_label2m.cmd (24×24) extracted from xnviewmp.exe with X-Ripper and selectively desaturated with Ultimate Hue/Saturation Control:
Alpha blending and the blue arrow are intact.
Nonetheless, I think we should ask Yuri (mezich) to create all required sizes (including 48×48) based on his (vector) source files.

You're right, the normal process for icons should be observed.

This problem is supposed to be fixed in XnView MP 0.85 beta 1. Please check and confirm the bug fix here.

Confirmed: the new icons are presents in every menus and toolbar.

Bug in the brand new version 0.85:
In the tool-bar in View mode the icons of "Uncolored" and "Uncolored (move to next photo)" not appear when I add them (Only the function name).
While in Browser mode they are present.

I can confirm. Icons for "Unrated" and "Unrated (Next image)" work fine - "Uncolored" and "Uncolored (Next image) have no icon.

In the menu too:
