Icons in thumbnail view

Hi,

When icons are viewed in thumbnail mode XnView displays some peculiar behaviour. As it starts reading the folder and creating the thumbnails the icons appear as they should appear, full size with transparency. But after XnView finishes creating the thumbnails the icons change state. It now displays them at low resolution with no transparency and at times at the smallest size setting. This is pretty ugly. Why is this behaviour happening and is there any way to fix it?

And while we're on the topic of icons, is it possible to have XnView use the icons for folders and drives as set by windows themes rather than the default ones in the tree folder view? It already uses the correct icons for My Computer, My Network Places and My Documents...

Love the rest of the program by the way. Only just re-discovered it after many years of using ACDSee and falling out of love with its over bloated and slow code.

Thanks,
sartori

Could you send me some examples? Do you use the cache?

XnView uses already the icon of the system.
