Here are some nice steps to follow: (I really don't know if this is a bug...)

0. Have „Use 2nd monitor for Full Screen” checked. Press F11 to enable it.
1. Go to folder F1
2. DblClick on a file to open it in a new tab.
3. Come back to browser
4. Go to folder F2
5. Go to tab opened at step 2.
6. Press F11

Expected: ??? (perhaps to close the Full Screen from the second monitor?)
Actual: !!! (two Full Screen modes on both monitors)

It is a BUG.

There are a ton of secondary effects which come from here - enough work to fix them.

So: by far the desired Expected: is „to close the Full Screen mode from the 2nd monitor”

Seems like there are few people here with two monitors to reproduce this problem.

are you able to reproduce it with lastest version?

I can confirm that V0.90 still behaves as described in posting #1.

I did not notice that before and at first I was not sure what I should expect in this case. It can be useful to have these two independent fullscreens. It is a little complicated to activate this mode (which suggests that it might not be a planned feature). But on the other hand nothing is missing or wrong. Another F11 restores the previous state.

Thinking a little more about that I would probably change nothing here.
* F11 while in browser tab enables/disables the fullscreen on the second monitor
* F11 while in image tab enables/disables the fullscreen on the first monitor (no matter if the second monitor is in fullscreen or not)
That's easy to remember, straight forward and sounds like a feature.

This problem is supposed to be fixed in XnView MP 0.91. Please check and confirm the bug fix here.

Can not check since no Linux version 0.91 available.

XnView MP Version 0.92 under Linux does behave like described here

That's easy to remember, straight forward and I like it this way. From my point of view solved

I heavily relied on the dual monitor full-screen functionality. It even allowed me to browse next/prev photos on each monitor while in full-screen. I'm really disappointed this no longer works. Is it possible to re-add the old functionality as an option in the settings?
