0.84: Restoring layout reverts info pane tab

XnView: MP 0.84 x64
OS: Windows 7 - 64 bit

Effect: Restoring the layout reverts the info pane tab to Histrogram, XMP, or EXIF tab which can be irritating.

To reproduce:
1. Save current layout.
2. Select a file in browser and select Properties tab in info pane.
3. Restore layout and see that info pane switches tabs, though it's unclear how it decides which one to switch to.
4. Repeat steps 2 & 3 trying different tabs in step 2.
Actual behaviour (bug): The info display changes on its own.

Expected behaviour: The tab should remain on whichever one you select when restoring a layout. Even if it was supposed to switch to whatever tab was active when the layout was saved, it is not doing so.

Thank you for this bug report, vertigo, which I can confirm: For me, it keeps switching to "Histogram" when I restore the layout while the tab when saving the layout was "Properties".

O.k., thank you, I can also reproduce the problem. Issue 1250 is fixed in next version.

Tested in 0.87 beta 2, bug reported by vertigo seems fixed.

When selecting Restore layout B (for me it is layout B with all the info panes) the Properties tab (or another selected tab) stays selected over and over again.
BUT: When switching to another layout and then back to Layout B, not the previous selected Properties tab is active but for me always the EXIF tab.
I don't know if this is relevant, but it doesn't look OK, right?

@HanVroon - Just noticed I missed your post. Is it still doing what you described? If so, can you provide step-by-step actions to take to reproduce it?
