RW2 to RAW

hi, complete novice here. I have AfterShot 3 Pro and a Lumix camera.
I understand that Aftershot Pro 3 cannot deal with .RW2 files so I am looking for a RW2 to RAW converter.
I thought this was it but even though I have output RAW files Aftershot 3 won't open them. I tried .RAW and .raw extensions but no joy. Have I missed something?
