Resize to zoom ratio

Dear developer,
to resize Images for Email, for example, I actually zoom out every image looking for the ideal image size. Then I look for the actual zoom-ratio, go to the resize-dialog (change it every time from pixels to percent...) and enter the percent value from my actual zoom-ratio.
It would be very nice to have an feature like "resize image to the actual zoom ratio"!
(That's would be very miraculous, like so much other features of this wonderful application!)
If the resize-dialog would start with the actual zoom-ratio as default, it would be like a solution too.
But for that dialog I would prefer if it starts with the settings used by the last time.
