1.open anything with more then one picture(1)
2.goto to picture number in fullscreen or picture mode
3.goto next picture(2)
4.close with alt f4
5.when you reopen you see that that your again at the place(1) where you´we to beginging changes havent saved

BUG was not present in 0.84. I rolled back to 0.84 becouse 0.85 was a mess, seems like i have to roll back again to 0.84 : (

Thank you for your bug report, Elocai. Why do you think that 0.85 is a mess?

I've just tried and could reproduce your problem.
To reproduce:
1. Open browser
2. Browse a folder with several images
3. Open the first image
4. In Viewer navigate to the last image
5. Close the viewer

From what I can see bug results from a wrong setting. The default for setting Interface » Interface | Synchronize browser when view is closed has changed, by default it is unchecked. Could you please check this setting and try again?

@Pierre: In XnView 0.84 (and probably before) default of "Synchronize browser when view is closed" was checked. Is there a reason why this was changed in 0.85?

I can reproduce both Elocai and Helmut's steps with Synchronize browser when view is closed checked.

XnViewMP can't remember the focus for the selected image currently open in Viewer mode from what I understand.

It was a change, it's a problem for many users.

With the setting activated, i can't reproduce
