NConvert Help file - TIFF format

The NConvert Help file lists .tiff as a supported TIFF format extension, but .tif also seems to be supported although not listed...
(Tested Windows 7 SP1)
Or is this determined by the operating system, as reported in this thread: .tiff file conversion not happening properly
A minor update to the Help file possibly required?
