View/Refresh (F5) does not work on folder pane

The View/refresh (F5) option does not work for the Folder pane.
If one adds a folder in an windows explorer one needs to quite and restart XnViewMP to see the new folder in the folder pane.

Hitting refresh does however work for the picture pane. After the refresh the new folder pops up in this pane. Opening the folder via this pane works but also does not update the folder pane.

Thank you for your problem report, PeterH. Which version of XnView MP and Windows do you use? Are the new folders created on a local drive or an external drive (network drive)?

Hi Helmut,

The new files are created with a a windows explorer on a local USB drive or Local D drive. I'm using the latest XnViewMp: 0.85 and Windows 10 with the latest update.

Kind regards Peter

It looks like this reported issue might be related to something with windows.
I just noticed that creating directories using windows explorer are almost instantly visible in the folder pane from XnViewMp. I have windows 10 configured to update automatically. Recently I needed to restart for a Windows update. It looks like this fixed this issue because I did not change the XnViewMp version.

Will check this for the coming weeks. Possibly the issue can be closed.

Regards Peter

As already stated bij PeterH, issue is fixed.

Tested with 0.86 and 0.87 beta 3, folders created in Windows Explorer ar seen in XnViewMP directly.
