In XnViewMp Version 0.86 64bits (Apr 25 2017)
the PageUp and PageDown buttons ignore the selected filter:
If you select a filter only to display the Good Images and open one of these. Then Click PageUp or PageDown, will open the next image in the directory regardless of the rating.

It should of-course open the next image rated according to the filter.

you means in edit mode?

This is not new.
Same for me if i filter pictures with the filename-search... but i accepted it, i think this is normal XnView behaviour.
A very annoying behaviour xD

Open XnView in Browser-Mode
Select a folder
Set a filter (e.g. filename-search or rating)
Open a picture
Press "→" or "↓" or "PageDown" for the next picture

Now the next picture in the selected sorting-method appears, even it is a picture which is not in the remaining pictures. (Filter does nothing!)

Thank you for the Tip, I restarted XnviewMp, browsed to the right folder, set the filter to excellent, then hit F11 and then hitting Page Down is indeed according to the filter. Very happy with this knowledge!

Not sure if I understand why it does not work like this while editing images. If I want to crop all excellent images I have a problem because hitting next discards the filter.

Any work around for this?
