XnView and a NAS connection

Hi!
Had to check first if XnView will work with a NAS, before I bought it.... i did not!!
Now i'm looking in the Forum for the answer: Can XnView work with a NAS? It is connected by my network. I See in the explorer from XnView a option called: network, but seems to be dead. Nothing happens when i click on it...
Please help me out!
