The "Associate files with XnViewMP" program does not work, even when run as administrator. The program runs, but changes have no effect.

XnViewMP 0.86 Windows 10 32bit build 14393

Previous associations are kept (eg MS Paint)

this app was only for XP, you need to use Settings>Integration>Set file associations
