I have a big panorama picture from my samsung smartphone with 9.232 x 3.936 pixels and XnViewMP is not able to open the file. Is there a limitation in the program? Other freeware picture viewer (e.g. IrfanView) can handle it.

XnView MP 32-bit or 64-bit, and Irfanview 32-bit or 64-bit?

There is a limit to the memory that can be addressed by 32-bit software, but I'm not sure if that is the problem here?

Both versions (32 and 64bit) have problems with the big jpeg file. It should not be a memory problem.

The picture file is very big and I am not able to send you the file via email, because the filesize is over 20 MB (limitation of my email provider). :-(

After searching in the XN-View Forum I found another person who had the same problem with his Samsung smartphone (S7 edge) and someone else wrote a solution:

Checking the "Ignore read errors" Check Box under File > Format Settings.

I have a Samsung S7 and the person who had the same problem, has a Samsung S7 Edge.
Now it is possible for me to open the panorama file. :-)
