0.87: Wrong sorting of pictures with XMP metadata
Posted: Mon Oct 16, 2017 4:25 pm
XnView Version:
XnView MP Linux
Version 0.87 64bits (Sep 5 2017)
Libformat version 7.10
OS:
Ubuntu 16.04
Description:
If a pictures has XMP metadata (rating, colour label, keyword, etc?) the picture is automatically sorted in the database and gets a tag by default. This behaviour can not be disabled.
To reproduce:
1. Start XnViewMP with clean Profile (or delete the Profile and db-folder)
2. Uncheck this option: [Tools > Settings > Metadata > IPTC&XMP > Import XMP subject...]
3. Go to a folder with a picture with XMP metadata (rating, colour label, keyword, ...)
Actual behaviour (bug):
The rating/color label/category of the pictures was set in the database. The unchecking of the option has no effect.
Expected behaviour:
The pictures does not get a rating/color label etc. in the database.
Can you confirm this bug?
It would be very nice if you could correct this.
Many thanx
