Preview pane doesn't remember its size when toggled

I adjust my preview panel at a certain size to my liking as below. However when I hide with in the view menu or the shortcut key (ctrl+shift+p) and open it again, the preview pane get squished to the the right as picture below. Anyone have this bug? Need fixing.
