Slideshow: Naviate also backwards

Hello,
first of all, CONGRATULATIONS for the really good slideshow feature offering an ALPHA-Blending-transition as the almost ONLY software in the Linux-environment.
To even more improve it, I suggest to add the possibility to move also backwards through the pictures. Currently, each key on the keyboard triggers going forward one picture, but sometimes I want to go back to an already presented picture.
Maybe just bring the arrow keys to work such ways.
