bug with resized images with alpha channel

I just noticed that when images have an alpha channel, and you are visualizing the alpha channel (with the M shortcut), the output is not correct when the image size is reduced. If you zoom out so that one image pixel >= one screen pixel the output is as expected, however, if you zoom in, the normal image is displayed (not the alpha). I've confirmed the bug is present in 2.40 and 2.44 XnView versions. I hope it's easy to reproduce on your side. Let me know if you need additional info.
