Is it possible to put XnView MP in the list of programs for photos in Windows 10?
There's only "Associate files with XnViewMP.exe" as "Use this tool for associating your file-types with XnView MP" shown there.

I've found a very simple way:
1. start XnViewMP once as administrator
2. go to tools > settings > integration and click on set file associations
You will get Windows-message telling you that you need to use the Windows-settings to do this. Click ok.
And: NOW any user on this PC can set XnViewMP as default app for photo-viewing.
Hope that helps.

Works indeed. By the way, 7zip does the file association from the program settings very well on Windows 10. Since 7zip is open source, maybe someone can figure out how it does it.

Is there a way to do this silently? I can do it through Group Policy, but would be much nicer to do during installation, OR call and EXE. I noticed the Associate files with XnViewMP.exe, but wasn't sure if it could be called silently from command-line or not.
