Lock zoom locks pan in image view but not in image preview

For example: if we lock the zoom of a photography to 100%, it will jump to the upper side of the zoom when we change to the next photo .
This doesn’t allow to compare focus or details between images. Also arbitrarily chooses to send the zoom pan to the top of the image instead keeping the pan or at least the center of the image. This means we will be stuck in the sky or ceiling.
In comparison it works perfect when we view images, instead preview.
