hide folders thumbnail in the browser

I want to hide the folder thumbnail, I mean hiding it completely, only photos and no folders of any kind.
I think I was able to do it in the past but I can not find the way now.

Yes, I have the same settings with folders off as you show but I can see yet the folders. Is this a bug? Included a screenshot:

I remember to be able to hide them before but not sure what setting I was using.

do you use Filter by>Custom?
