Hi, when the forum users forgot the password and forgot the user, there is not the way to restore the user. I had to remake a new registration with another email address to enter the forum. After that user creation I was able to find the old user. The forum should permit to recover user and the email address separately.

I guess you can PM the moderator and mention your IP.
They can monitor your IP address and find your credentials

The email address used for the first account might be better as IP addresses can change, for example when a router is rebooted...

Allegedly, this feature will be reinstated in a fututre version of phpBB: “Don't require username when user forgets password”

In the meantime, please ask a moderator or an admin to reset your password.
