The new feature "show 4 thumbnails in video's thumbnail" was introduced in 0.92.
However, for very short videos (<2s I think), it seems that Xnview cannot generate 4 thumbnails for them and will go freezing.
Uncheck the ""show 4 thumbnails in video's thumbnail" option can solve it.

No, was in previous version too

I am having the same issue with 0.92. I am not sure if it is a matter of generating thumgbnails as Xnviewmp also hangs when thumbnails are already created. (Unless it tries to regenerate thumbnails every time).

This problem is supposed to be fixed in XnView MP 0.93. Please check and confirm the bug fix here.

its still not fixed yet.
Some of the files, when they got download from the internet they still playable but not 100% packed or some reasons else i dont know, specially with those i download using app like 4k downloader . it keeps Xnview crashed. lots of videos in my library is like that.
I wish the program can skip the videos that cannot produce the 4img thumbnails or making 1 image thumbnail instead of crashing it.
I set the database engine mem is 15GB but seems like it always use less then 100MB

This problem is supposed to be fixed in XnView MP 0.94. Please check and confirm the bug fix here.
