Crash when browsing in thumbnails mode, with "4 images" option enabled.
To reproduce just enter any folder with images and press backspace (to leave it).
This bug is present with my old ini file and also with default settings.
More info about this crash:
"AppName: xnview.exe AppVer: 1.82.0.0 ModName: xnview.exe
ModVer: 1.82.0.0 Offset: 000c7bc3"
P.S. I can't enable "4 images" option anymore, I must copy my original old ini file to new xnview alpha folder.

Ok, only with back
For me any navigation will GPF (Windows XP). The exact steps to reproduce:
1. Start XnView
2. In XnView browser, open a folder with thumbnails, i.e. a folder with images in it, by double-clicking on it.
3. Open the first image by double-clicking on it.
4. Press "Next image" toolbarbutton
--> XnView will GPF. If not, repeat 4 and it will crash.
