Surprise Copies in other directories.

Overall, IMHO, XnViewMP is the best graphics viewer I've used, especially in Linux.

The following problem has happened several times and it rather troublesome.
I'll edit a photo, e.g., crop it and enhance the contrast, and then save the changes.
Hours or days or months later I'll be in an entirely different directory and stumble
across a copy of the photo. I wasn't anywhere near that directory when the photo
was edited, so how did a copy end up there, and, more importantly, how can
this be prevented?
Thank you.

you find a copy of the previous edited file in another folder? original or new one?
