Donation for features

I hope this thread fits into this forum.
Perhaps it speads up things a little bit, if there is a possibility to donate money for a specific function. I know this from other software projects where it works fine. Of course the programmer has to commit himself to bring the function within time if a predefined amount of money is raised.
