How can I view .heic images from my iPhone on Windows 7?

How do I get the plugin there for HEIC to work?

I downloaded the HEIF plugin and put all the files in C:\Program Files\XnViewMP\plugins
It shows up when I look at plugins in the about dialog.
How should it work?
What I would like to do is convert a HEIC file to a jpg.
