Saving a multi-page tiff file to a folder with a dot in the name gives incorrect extension

Hello!
When saving any multipage tiff file to a folder with the name where there is a dot, this file is saved with an unknown extension.
I do not know whether this is a bug or should be so. Just in case, I will write about this fact.
