XnView: MP 0.93.1 64bit
OS: MacOS 10.14.5 (Mojave)
Display: Retina 5K

To reproduce:
1. Start XnView MP ==> The window will be maximized but not fullscreen (menu bar and dock are visible)
2. Make the XnView MP window smaller.
3. Quit XnView MP.
4. Start XnView MP.

Expected behavior: The XnView MP window will have the same size and position as set in step 2.
Actual behavior: The XnView MP window will be maximized (like in step 1).

My settings:
General -> Startup -> Open browser: not checked
General -> Startup -> Mode when starting with a file: Normal
View -> View -> Auto image size: No fit
View -> Fullscreen -> Auto image size: No fit

sorry but i can't reproduce, the size/position are correctly saved/restored

Yes. First, everything was fine. The problem did not occur. But then I draw the window bigger so that it's maximized but not fullscreen (menu bar and dock are visible), and afterwards the problem occurred again.

So to reproduce the problem, it's not necessary to make any settings. The problem occurs with clean settings. The only thing you have to do is to draw the window to the maximum size and then close XnView.

Did you get a response from the QT team meanwhile? The problem still exists in 0.94.
