no dithering available for black-and-white TIFF?

Hello.

We have several thousand black-and-white TIFFs (2 color), which contain plans to build large machinery.

These TIFFs contain somes lines that are broad, and some lines that are small. One sample drawing is 4962x3508 pixel, but this is a small sample only.

When displaying these TIFFs with the (windows 2000) built-in "Imaging" Program and zooming to 25% the small lines become gray, the broad lines stay black. This is the way we want it to be displayed. Is this mode of display available in XNview (currently licensed owner of 1.80.3, and tried 1.82alpha), but havent found a matching display setting until now.

I can attach the sample file to this questions (its 25 KB only), if someone tells me how.

Thank you,

Torsten

I have been longing for ages for this feature and I thought it did not exist in XnView. Thanks to Drahken for having answered TottyStuttgart's question.

Perhaps it might be helpful to add something in the XnView built-in help file on this. I searched with the words "display" and "quality", but did not get any item related to the above feature.

Thanks.
