Does XnViewMMP update XMP CreatorTool?

After getting back to review some images to which I know I have added some information which ends up in Xmp.iptcExt.PersonInImage, the images do show the data, but, although I was reasonably sure they were added with XnViewMP, the Xmp.xmp.CreatorTool is listed as ACDSEE Quick View.
I may well have, at some time in the past, used ACDSEE Quick View to set up the images initially, but I am almost 100% sure I added the person-in-image info using XnViewMP.
Question: does XnViewMP leave any 'trace' of its involvement in editing any metadata in an image?
I can well image that it might not, but I am curious and would like to educate myself a bit more on this subject

TIA

As a follow-up after all this time, is it possible the personinimage data was added with XnviewMP?
I don't seem to be able to find out how to do it, if in fact the data was added by XnViewMP

TIA

Picasa software can add this field...
Maybe Microsoft Live Gallery also
but Xnviewmp does not...

Thank you for reminding me

After finding some of my older images recently, which did have some PersonInImage data, I was trying to figure out how it got there.
It must have been Picasa which I used some time ago, before it was abandoned by Google.
Now I am trying to find a replacement so that I can add the same information to other photos.
Any recommendations?

Picasa, even abandoned by Google, still works fine !
But XnViewMp doesn't read PersonInImage tag.
I had to copy picasa .ini files content into keywords (with AvPicFaceXmpTagger software)
Another way would be to copy the XMP tag into keywords with ExifTool .
Maybe we could ask Pierre to create an option for this with XnviewMP ...

Adding such a feature certainly would be of great interest to my work with family photos and family tree research.
Is there an easy way to transfer the topic to Suggestions?

Thank you
looking forward to this, though I do see a problem of how one would keep any kind of history or(version control)

Because I assume that by adding any particular application's name here, that application would be blamed for any and all issues left behind by any previous tool.
