XnViewMP 0.93.1 and later - browser viewer: thumbnail generator scans subdirectories, but does not need and use them!

I use the latest 0.94 beta #1 and started XnViewMP and opened a directory in the browser window.
In the log view window of the beta version I could see, how XnViewMP scanned the directory to check for image information within directories and files.
First it scans all directories within the pictures folder and then for image informations within the files.
From the log view window I can see, that XnViewMP also scans the subdirectories of the directories within the pictures folder.
That is basically a good idea, but a big performance and speed killer, because XnViewMP does not use and show these images as directory thumbnail!
My hardissk (example):
| D:\pictures
+------------+ \holiday
+------------+----------+ \H2018
+------------+----------+ \H2019
+------------+ \party
+------------+----------+ \P2018
+------------+----------+ \P2019
If I browse the D:\picture folder, XnViewMP will scan all directories (holiday, party and (!) their subdirectories: H2018, H2019, P2018, P2019), too!
I think XnViewMP wants to scan them, to generate the thumbnails for a directory.
But it does not need the subdirectories, because it does not use the image information of them to build directory thumbnails!
XnViewMP need much time to scan the subdirectories, but do not need them!
